Counseling is a process and it is normal to have several questions as we start the journey. You are encouraged to ask questions that are important to you during your initial session to help you determine if working with me as your counselor is a good fit.

Individual Therapy

In a world filled with so much uncertainty, it is easy to lose your sense of self.  The most important relationship you have is with yourself.  Self-awareness and self-care are essential components of one’s journey to healing and finding their truth.  Individual therapy provides a safe space to be heard and supported without judgement. The therapeutic process is a journey that involves making new discoveries about what makes you happy as you explore what keeps you stuck in unhealthy patterns and learn to set healthy boundaries. As we journey together we will work towards building the momentum needed to move forward in living out your truth. 

Couples Therapy

Partner relationships often experience conflict and stagnation. These issues may arise from unresolved emotional pain, trauma, betrayal, loss, or infidelity.  Couples therapy is a journey to increased connection, conflict resolution, more effective communication, and an increased awareness of your partner’s needs.  Our sessions will provide you with the tools necessary to rebuild friendship, deepen intimacy, and establish trust as you gain the momentum needed to maintain a healthy connection.

Family Therapy

While there are many treasures found in belonging to a family system, there are also struggles such as divorce, loss, conflict, trauma, or family of origin issues.  Family Therapy provides an opportunity to explore these challenges as a team by teaching members to effectively communicate, reduce stress, deepen connections, and discover new ways of supporting one another. Your engagement in family therapy will increase your awareness of each team member’s strengths and challenges as you work to create healthy patterns of interaction.  Family Therapy is a collective journey towards maintaining healthy boundaries, solving problems, and creating a culture of grace and compassion.  Our work together will honor each team member’s truth and acknowledge their individual value.  

Pre-Marital Therapy

The old saying starting off on the right foot still holds value today. Gaining awareness and understanding of your partner and their family of origin influences prior to marriage assists you with avoiding the potholes that may present themselves on your marital journey.  Pre-marital therapy explores how to manage conflict, communicate effectively, relieve stress, and maintain a loving relationship with reduced risks for contention, infidelity, or divorce.  Premarital counseling services are designed to holistically prepare you for a life together. The sessions will guide you through important topics such as expectations, future goals, how you give and receive love, and your financial goals and expectations.
